Everywhere it is Easter; especially at the home of Mrs. M. T. Milam, Sr. at Reagor Springs.
Mrs. Milam will have as her guests today her seven children and their respective husbands and wives and 18 young ones.  In fact, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Milam and Bryce and Brenda arrived from Midland, Saturday.  Mr. M., who is now working toward a doctorate, is principal of a Midland school.
Others who will join the party are Mr. and
Mrs. M. T. Milam
and two, and Mr. and Mrs.
Clyde Milam
and four, all of Irving.  Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Milam and three, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Milam and two, and Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Hartsfield and two, all of Dallas; and Mr. and
Mrs. H. D. Allen
and three of Waxahachie.
Mrs. Milam's house is just a small one, but it is home and when the family gatherings have been held in the larger and more pretentious homes of the children there has been a noticeable lack of flavor.  It just wasn't the same.
"Mama" always has food enough for an ordinary Sunday crowd, but when the whole delegation comes in according to pre-arranged plan, each brings a dish or two.
Mrs. M. was freshening up the curtains when we stopped by for a pre-Easter visit.  We say some things she had made for some of the grands.  Seems that whenever a daughter or daughter-in-law has a "big scrap" left over from a dressmaking project, she sends it to "Mama" who promptly converts it into a stylish garment for one of the youngsters.
"Mama" always puts in a garden and when the kids leave her house for the respective homes, they are always laden with canned or garden fresh vegetables and fruits.
